Can I get a mmm mmm? Woah are these granola bars delicious and SUPER SIMPLE. And when I mean super simple I mean a kindergartener can make these puppies. There are only 4 ingredients, no mess and they only take 20 minutes to cook.
Today’s Challenge: Cacao Nibs, Sweet
I used almond butter in my granola bars but you can use peanut butter, cashew butter or any other nut butter that you like! If you don’t want to use any nut butter, add unsweetened coconut flakes and a little honey to help the granola bars stick together!
Ingredients: (This makes enough for 6 granola bars)
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 banana, mashed
- 1.5 tablespoons almond butter
- 1 tablespoon cacao nibs
~ Preheat oven to 350
~ Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and mix until fully combined.
~ On a lined baking tray lay out mix and form it into a square or rectangle. You can make the granola bars as thick as you like but I chose mine to be about 1/4-1/2 inch thick.
~ Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown all around.
